Delete your account and data
Odd Question lets you delete your account and all associated data directly in the app, at any time, with no support ticket required.
Steps
- Open Odd Question.
- Tap your title in the top-right corner (for example, "Intern"). That opens Settings.
- On the Profile tab, scroll to Your data.
- Tap Delete my data.
- Confirm by tapping Yes, delete everything.
This immediately removes your on-device progress and, if you have an account, your votes and account on our servers. This can't be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login, including any verified email or phone number
- Your votes, rankings, and answers
- Your progress, streaks, and any demographic information you opted into
- Your friendships, Circle memberships, and anonymous or unmasked questions sent or received
- Your phone-number hash and any synced contact hashes
- Any Plus subscription bought on the web, which is cancelled at the same time
- Your on-device data (cleared from this device automatically)
Anonymized aggregate contributions to past findings may remain, since they can no longer be traced back to you — see our Privacy Policy for details.
A subscription bought through Apple or Google
If you subscribed inside the iOS or Android app, deleting your account does not cancel that subscription; Apple and Google manage it. Cancel it from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions page, before or after deleting.
